Freddano Estate is a dynamic and youthful company that embraces certified organic farming and passionately celebrates the traditions and experiences of the past. Located on gentle hills that proudly overlook the wonderful Corbara Lake, just 15 kilometers from Orvieto, it masterfully dedicates itself to producing wines and oils of extraordinary excellence. Its deeply rooted culture dates back to 1927, courageously passing through time, devoutly preserving traditions and embracing life experiences that have helped shape it. Orvieto Classico Superiore DOC

Spes

Straw yellow in color with golden highlights, it expresses sweet and warm aromas on the nose, floral scents of broom and elderflower, and fruity notes of peach, pineapple, and light exotic fruit, which are enriched by mineral veins and hints of aromatic herbs (lemon balm, elderflower, and thyme).

Orvieto Classico Superiore DOC Vendemmia Tardiva

Tufantello

Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, it has a pleasant and fragrant nose with mineral notes and hints of plum, peach, broom, and green apple. On the palate, it is sweet, harmonious, and enveloping.

MERLOT RISERVA

Fontauro

Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, it has a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it is broad and rich, offering intense and elegant floral and herbaceous aromas, hints of wild berries, spicy notes, and balsamic and vanilla nuances.

T h e E s t a t e

The Estate is a true feast for the eyes, with its gentle slopes that welcome the vineyards. Thanks to their south to southeast orientation, the vines enjoy a wonderful exposure to the sun, which lovingly touches every plant and promotes lush growth. It’s as if the sunlight dances between the rows, giving the grapes a unique vital energy.

The Freddano Estate, founded in 1927 by Sante Freddano, is a story of excellence in the production of wine and extra virgin olive oil. In 1987, Giulio, the son of Sante, inherited the company, maintaining high standards of quality. In December 2019, Chiara Fiorentini took the helm of the company, carrying forward the Freddano tradition with passion and determination. The Freddano Estate represents a successful story that unites generations, cultures, and tradition in a unique experience.
